ICCMO was founded in 1979 by Dr. Bernard Jankelson, a pioneer in neuromuscular dentistry. He envisioned dentistry as involving the total physiology of the head and neck, and received particular attention for his efforts to relate the lower jaw to the cranium in three dimensions and to quantify data.

About ICCMO
The International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) is a society of health care staff and professionals who have a common interest in the anatomy and physiology of occlusion, jaw function and orthopedics dysfunction with resultant symptoms in the head and neck. The health and quick recovery of patients experiencing these sort of problems is paramount and regular staff training has gone along way in achieving this.
